How did the record of the band s first album T A K O come about

Memories

As the group T A K O gained enough respect from the audience who always received them well at concerts that were always full and editors at record labels became interested in releasing LP records. At the beginning of 1978, RTV Ljubljana was very effective in making the deal. After waiting for such an offer for too long, the band members accepted the first offer and thus the first album was recorded in 36 hours in studio M in Novi Sad and RTV Ljubljana was the publisher.

The songs selected for the album, simply called TAKO, were well done as the band had many performances behind. Packed instruments in a van and three members left Belgrade to Novi Sad. Two weeks before, guitarist Miro Di Ghaesa sold his Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar and had to wait for a buddy who loaned him the Gibson Les Paul Standard for this recording. Due to circumstances, the VOKS AC 30 amplifier remained in Belgrade, so he was taken by taxi to a bus station with a guitar ... He arrived on time at Studio M. in Novi Sad.
In the afternoon, instruments were mostly set up and the proper sound of each instrument and every drum element was sought. The recording was organized in such a way that the basic matrix of drums, bass, electric piano and guitar riff were simultaneously recorded on multiple channels .... It was a high-quality 24-channel MSI studio with a two-inch tape recorder.
